Māche Salad with Hazelnuts, Pear, and Goat Cheese

his is a simple low-calorie salad that offers many nutrients as well as heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. If you have an apple wedger, use it to core and cut the pear into wedges, then use a knife to cut each wedge into 3 slices.

Ingredients:
6 teaspoons Lulu fig balsamic vinegar
5 teaspoons Napa Valley organic olive oil
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 bag Epic Roots māche, washed and dried
2 tablespoons Flannigan Farms sliced hazelnuts
1 firm, ripe pear, cored and sliced into thin wedges
3 tablespoons Chavrie goat cheese, crumbled

    Instructions:
  1. Whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. In a salad bowl, combine the māche, hazelnuts, pear slices, and goat cheese. Toss with the dressing and serve immediately.
