Roasted Garbanzo Snacks
Serves 3
These crunchy roasted beans make for an excellent, well-balanced snack. If you like them, double or triple the recipe so you can have them around for a few days. Try adding them to salads for extra crunch, too. - Jessica Siegel, Registered Dietitian
-cooking spray 1 15-ounce can S&W organic garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon Napa Valley organic olive oil 1 teaspoon Spice Hunter organic rubbed sage 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Preheat oven to 450º Fahrenheit. Lightly spray a small roasting pan with cooking spray. – Place beans in pan and drizzle with olive oil; toss to coat. Sprinkle with sage and garlic powder; toss to coat. Cook for 35-40 minutes, shaking the pan after 15 minutes, until crispy throughout. Eat warm or cool. Store uneaten beans in an airtight container. |
