Turkey Roll Ups

Kids love to make these for lunch or for an after school snack. Provide an array of fillings so kids can get creative and personalize their roll-ups.

    You will need:
  • A knife
  • A rolling pin
  • A cutting board
    Ingredients:
  • Milton's healthy wholegrain bread
  • The Laughing Cow Light original spreadable cheese
  • Applegate Farms smoked turkey breast slices
  • Romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • Tomato, thinly sliced
  • Avocado, thinly sliced
    Instructions:
  1. Place one slice of bread on a cutting board and cut the crust off all 4 sides. Use a rolling pin to flatten out the bread. It will make a long rectangle.

  2. Spread 1 wedge of Laughing Cow cheese on the flattened bread.

  3. Lay 1 slice of turkey on top.

  4. Tear a lettuce leaf so it fits on top of the turkey.

  5. Place 1 tomato slice on the bottom part of the bread (the part nearest you).

  6. Lay 2 slices of avocado on top of the tomato.

  7. Carefully start rolling up the sandwich, starting with the tomato end. When it's all rolled up, gently pat it down so that it sticks together. Slice your roll into 5 pinwheels.
