A Jessica Siegel & Kid-Friendly Recipe
Serves 1 or many

his is a fun recipe for kids to make because they get to choose from an assortment of yummy toppings while they build their own parfaits.

    You will need:
  • A clear 12-ounce cup
  • A 1/4-cup measuring cup
  • A tablespoon
    Ingredients:
  • Alta Dena nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • Mariani tropical medley dried fruit
  • Pavich organic raisins (in the green container)
  • Alta Dena organic low fat cottage cheese
  • Post grape-nuts cereal
  • Flanigan Farms sunflower seeds, unsalted
  • A ripe banana, sliced into circles
  • Nestlé Toll House mini morsels
    Instructions:
  1. Measure out 1/4 cup of yogurt and pour it into the bottom of the clear cup. Scoop 1 tablespoon of dried tropical fruit and sprinkle it over the yogurt. Scoop 1 tablespoon of raisins and sprinkle it over the dried fruit.

  2. Measure out 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and dump it on top of the raisins. Gently shake the cup from side-to-side so the cottage cheese flattens out. Scoop 1 tablespoon of grape-nuts and sprinkle it over the cottage cheese. Scoop 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds and sprinkle it over the grape-nuts.

  3. Measure out 1/4 cup more yogurt and dump it on top of the sunflower seeds. Gently shake the cup from side-to-side so the yogurt flattens out. Arrange 6 banana slices on top of the yogurt. Scoop 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips and sprinkle on top of the bananas.
