Q: What should I do if the bag the Turkey is in has a leak or tears?
A: Proceed with the cooking as stated in the re-heating instructions. Add
the water to the pan as directed and leave the Turkey in the bag even with a leak or tear.
Q: Where do I place the thermometer in the Turkey when checking the final cooking temperature?
A: Place the thermometer into the thickest part of the thigh without touching the bone.
Q: What if the film comes off of the side dish container?
A: If the film is broken or torn leave it on the pan otherwise you may loosely place aluminum
foil over the pan if using a conventional over or cover with plastic wrap if using a microwave and proceed with the cooking as
stated in the re-heating instructions.
Q: What type of pan should I use to re-heat my Turkey?
A: A heavy duty roasting pan is best for even heating; but a disposable aluminum pan may
also be used. Take extra caution when removing hot Turkey from the oven when using a disposable aluminum pan.
Q: Can I re-heat the entire meal with only one oven?
A: Yes. This would be a two part process. (1) After your Turkey has heated for the specified
time take it out of the oven and cover with foil to keep the heat in. (2) At this time you may use the oven to heat the side dishes, or
use the microwave for the side dishes.
Q: How long can I keep the leftovers?
A: All leftovers should be quickly refrigerated after your meal (within one hour of serving)
(When the leftover food is kept under proper refrigeration at or below 41º F.) you can keep them for up to 3 days.
Q: My Mashed Potatoes or Yam Soufflé' look watery. Are they Ok?
A: Yes they are perfectly fine. It is natural for potatoes and yams to weep moisture after preparation.
Reheating according to the directions will reconstitute the product.
Q: My gravy appears to be separated. Is there something wrong?
A: The gravy may have an appearance of separation when it's cold... Heating according to the
directions will reconstitute the product.
