JESSICA SIEGEL, MPH, RD
As your nutrition and wellness resource, Jessica offers several different services. You can visit Jessica at her office, located in our beautiful Century City store, call her at 1-800-GELSONS, or e-mail her at nutrition@gelsons.com. She counsels customers on diverse topics, including weight loss, high cholesterol, child nutrition and cooking. Jessica also visits several of our 18 store locations each month where she offers services such as body fat testing, store tours, diet upgrades and food demos. To assist our customers with their special dietary concerns, Jessica has prepared a Gluten-Free Shopping List, a Very Low Sodium Shopping List and Jessica’s Healthy Shopping List (which features healthful foods around the store that Jessica recommends), each of which are available in stores and on-line at www.gelsons.com. Jessica has also converted thousands of Gelson’s shoppers into better eaters over the years with Recipes from Jessica’s Kitchen, her delightful line of healthful and wholesome prepared foods, available in all of Gelson’s Service Delis. These delicious dishes are appropriate for people with weight concerns, heart disease and diabetes, as well as those who are working to prevent certain lifestyle-related diseases. If you haven’t tried them yet, visit your neighborhood Gelson’s Service Deli for a complimentary taste of any of Jessica’s tasty creations. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. She is the former Media Spokesperson for the California Dietetic Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Dietetic Association. Jessica has appeared on The Food Network and Discovery Health and has published articles and recipes in several magazines. She was honored with The American Dietetic Association’s Young Dietitian of the Year award in 2005. She lives with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles.
