Moroccan Couscous
Recipe List
Serves 10
    Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 box Near East brand couscous, original plain flavor
  • 1 8-3/4 ounce can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/3 cup raisins, chopped
    Directions:
  1. In a medium pot, combine water, olive oil, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. Cover and bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, garbanzo beans, and raisins. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff lightly with a fork before serving.
