Peaches with Raspberry Sauce, A Kid-Friendly Recipe

his is a yummy summertime treat. It’s colorful, delicious and nutritious. Both kids and adults will love making it and eating it. This recipe can easily be doubled.

    You will need:
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • A small bowl
  • A knife
  • A spoon.
    Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups raspberries, rinsed briefly
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange juice
  • 1 firm ripe peach, washed
    Instructions:
  1. Measure the raspberries into a small bowl. Sprinkle them with two teaspoons of sugar and one teaspoon orange juice. Stir the berries gently and let them sit for five minutes.

  2. Find the seam or indented line that runs all the way around the peach. Use a knife to cut the peach in half along the seam. Carefully twist the peach apart. Use a spoon to scoop out the pit and most of the inner red membrane. Place each half on a plate and spoon the raspberry sauce on top of the peaches.
