Perfect Filet of Beef
Serves 4
    Ingredients:
    Recipe List
  • 4 8 oz. filet mignons, cut 2" thick
  • 2 Tbsps. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsps. freshly ground black pepper
    Instructions:
  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Rub filets on all sides with olive oil and season with pepper.
  3. Place filets on top of a broiler pan and place under broiler, 3" from heat.
  4. Broil for 4 minutes, turn, and broil for an additional 3 minutes for rare.
  5. Add 1 minute to each side for medium.
