Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 4 8 oz. filet mignons, cut 2" thick
- 2 Tbsps. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 ½ tsps. freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat broiler.
- Rub filets on all sides with olive oil and season with pepper.
- Place filets on top of a broiler pan and place under broiler, 3" from heat.
- Broil for 4 minutes, turn, and broil for an additional 3 minutes for rare.
- Add 1 minute to each side for medium.
