Serves 5
This is a quick and easy recipe, especially since brown rice usually takes 45-60
minutes to cook. Serve it alongside my
Broiled Salmon with Watermelon Salsa, or
with my Fried Chicken recipe makeover.
Ingredients:
- 1 quart Health Valley Fat Free chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Kikkoman Lite soy sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 bag Success brown rice
- 3 scallions, ends trimmed, green and white parts
thinly sliced
Instructions:
In a medium pot bring chicken broth, soy sauce and bay
leaves to a boil. Add rice bag and cook on high for 10 minutes. Use tongs to lift
the bag out of the liquid and let it drain. Cut the bag open and empty the rice
into a serving bowl. Mix in scallions and serve.
