Gelson’s Back to School Lunches with Jessica Siegel - Everyday Swiss on Rye

Serves: 1

Ingredients

2 slices Angelic Bakehouse 7 sprouted whole grain rye bread
2 generous teaspoons Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
2 generous teaspoons French’s yellow mustard, or to taste
2-3 slices Applegate sliced Emmentaler Swiss cheese

Directions

Carefully separate 2 slices of frozen bread. Spread one side of each slice with Vegenaise and mustard to taste. Layer on the cheese slices, arranging so each bite will have 2 layers of cheese if possible. Close sandwich and cut in 4 pieces. The bread will defrost by lunchtime.
