4-Step Brie & Grape Tarts

When you need a quick appetizer but want something a little bit fancier than cheese and crackers, try our recipe for Brie & Grape Tarts.

It’s such a classic pairing: sweet grapes and funky, creamy Brie, nestled in a pillow of light, flaky puff pastry. A drizzle of spiced honey gives it a whisper of heat. Last minute awards watch party? Check! Impromptu happy hour? Check!

Here’s the recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375º. Roll 1 thawed puff pastry sheet into a 10x15” rectangle and cut into 12 even squares. Grease a muffin tin and press one square into each cup.

  2. Remove the rind from an 8-oz wheel of Brie and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place one piece in each puff pastry well. Slice 36 red grapes in half and place 3 halves into each well. Drizzle 1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil evenly over the tarts. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.

  3. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 Tbsp honey, ½ tsp ground coriander, ¼ tsp ground cardamom, and ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper. Microwave on high for 2 minutes until the honey is the consistency of a thin syrup. Stir the honey to evenly distribute the spices.

  4. Remove the tarts from the muffin pan and arrange them on a serving platter. Drizzle with the spiced honey and garnish with minced chives. Enjoy!
