4-Step Pineapple Ginger Wellness Shots

Ginger, citrus, and phytochemicals! Wahoo! This 4-Step Pineapple-Ginger Wellness Shot recipe is made with a generous quantity of nutrient-dense, good-for-you whole foods, like lemons, oranges, and rich, green veggies. It’s more cost-effective ‘cause it’s homemade. Best of all, it’s super refreshing! The pineapple gives it a light sweetness, and it finishes with a lemony, ginger-forward zing.

Like all wellness shots, a little goes a long way. We love it poured over an ice cube.

Our tip: A jar of wellness makes a wonderful gift. Pour your wellness brew into a few cute mason jars, and give it to the folks in your life who could use a boost!

4-Step Pineapple Ginger Wellness Shots

Ingredients

4 cups diced pineapple
2 peeled lemons
1 peeled orange
1 cucumber
1 cup diced celery
5” knob ginger, peeled and diced
2 cups packed spinach
1 cup parsley
1 cup coconut water

Directions

1. In a blender, combine 4 cups diced pineapple, 2 peeled lemons, 1 peeled orange, 1 cucumber, 1 cup diced celery, 5” knob ginger, peeled and diced, 2 cups packed spinach, 1 cup parsley, and 1 cup coconut water.

2. Blend on high until very smooth, 2 minutes.

3. Strain the juice through a nut milk bag or, working in batches, strain it through a large mesh sieve lined with 3 layers of cheesecloth into a large pitcher.

4. Divide the wellness shots between small jars and serve in 2 oz portions. Store in the fridge for 3 days, or freeze for up to 1 month and thaw before consuming.
