Here's the recipe:

  1. Combine 1 oz gin, ½ oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice, and ½ oz simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake for 30 seconds.

  2. Strain the cocktail into a champagne flute.

  3. Top with 3 oz sparkling white wine and garnish with a lemon twist.
