Baked Apples

Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 Rome apples cored
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons walnuts chopped
2 tablespoons Grape Vine Trading Co
pitted and dried tart cherries chopped
1 pinch cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Arrange apples in a small baking dish so they do not touch one another. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, walnuts, cherries and cinnamon. Spoon into the center of the apples. Loosely cover with aluminum foil and bake 35 to 45 minutes, or until just tender when pierced. Serve warm.
