Reheating Instructions

 

DINNERS


PRIME RIB OR BRISKET DINNER FOR TWO


PRIME RIB/ BRISKET:

Oven - Preheat oven to 325° and remove lid from tray. Add 3 tablespoons au jus and cover with aluminum foil. Place container in center of the oven and heat for 12-15 minutes or until desired temperature is achieved.

Microwave - Remove lid from tray and place in microwave oven. Heat in one-minute increments until desired temperature is achieved. Black and gold container can be used in oven or microwave. Note- Keep refrigerated until ready to heat.

CORNBREAD STUFFING, MASHED POTATOES, BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CREAMED SPINACH:

Oven - Preheat oven to 325° and remove lid from tray. Please tray in center of oven. Heat for 12-15 minutes or until desired temperature is achieved. Stir product prior to serving.

Microwave - Remove lid from tray and place in microwave oven. Heat in one-minute increments until desired temperature is achieved. Stir product prior to serving. Black and gold container can be used in oven or microwave. Note- Keep refrigerated until ready to heat.

BEEF AND MUSHROOM GRAVY:

Stovetop - Remove lid and plastic film from container. Empty contents into a saucepan. Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, for 1-2 minutes to simmer or until desired temperature is achieved. Note- Keep refrigerated until ready to heat. Do not reheat in container.

Microwave - Remove lid and plastic film from container. Empty contents into a microwave safe container. Heat in one-minute increments until desired temperature is achieved. Note- Keep refrigerated until ready to heat. Do not reheat in container

HORSERADISH SAUCE:

To be served cold

 

TURKEY BREAST/SLICED HAM DINNER FOR TWO


ROASTED TURKEY/ SLICED HAM:

Oven - Preheat oven to 325° and remove lid from tray. Add 3 tablespoons water to cover bottom of container. Cover with aluminum foil and place container in center of the oven. Heat for 12-15 minutes or until desired temperature is achieved.

Microwave - Remove lid from tray and place in microwave oven. Heat in one-minute increments until desired temperature is achieved. Black and gold container can be used in oven or microwave. Note- Keep refrigerated until ready to heat.

CRANBERRY SAUCE:

To be served cold

TURKEY

Preheat oven to 325°F.  Remove turkey from plastic bag.  Plastic leg band can be left in place during heating.  Place turkey in roasting pan and add one cup of water or turkey broth to bottom of pan.  Cover turkey loosely with aluminum foil and heat approximately 10 minutes per pound.  Gelson’s recommends reheating turkey to an internal temperature of 165°F.  For best results use a meat thermometer.  Once internal temperature of 165°F is reached, remove turkey from oven, tighten aluminum foil covering and allow to rest for 20 minutes before carving.

 

SLICED ROASTED TURKEY BREAST

Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Remove plastic wrapping & lid from the turkey breast and add about 1/4-cup water to the bottom of the container. Cover with foil and place container on a baking sheet. Heat for approximately 10 to 15 minutes or until turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

 

CORNISH GAME HEN

Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Remove hens from packaging and place on a rack in a roasting pan with enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover with foil and heat in oven until the hens reach an internal temperature of 165°F, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

 

SPIRAL GLAZED HAM

Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Remove ham from foil wrapping and place on rack face down in a roasting pan. Add water to cover the bottom of the pan, approximately 1-inch from the bottom. Cover with foil and heat approximately 30 to 40 minutes or until an internal temperature of 140°F is reached.

 

BONELESS RIB ROAST

Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove roast from packaging, place in an oven safe roasting pan, add 1 cup water or beef broth and cover with aluminum foil.  Heat approximately 1 to 1 ‰ hours or until desired temperature/doneness is reached (rare 120°F/ medium 130°F/ well-done 155°F.

PLEASE NOTE THAT COOKING TIMES AND TEMPERATURES VARY FROM OVEN TO OVEN.

For your safety, these meals are deep chilled. If your dinner components appear to be firm or hard to the touch, add a few more minutes of cooking time. For best results, we recommend using a food thermometer, when your item reaches 165F. it will be fully reheated.

 

ROTISSERIE CHICKEN

Place chickens in a shallow baking pan or casserole with a very small amount of water in the bottom. Cover with foil and heat in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F.

 

BEEF BRISKET with JULIENNE VEGETABLES 

Place the brisket with vegetables and jus on top in a shallow baking pan or casserole. Cover with foil and heat in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F.

WINTER VEGETABLE MEDLEY

Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove lid from tray. Leave film on tray and pierce film several times with a fork. Place tray on baking tray in center of oven.  Heat approximately 20 - 25 minutes or until hot.  Let stand for 1 minute before serving. *Note: Keep refrigerated until ready to heat.

 

MASHED POTATOES

Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove lid from tray. Leave film on tray and pierce film several times with a fork. Place tray on baking tray in center of oven.  Heat approximately 30 - 35 minutes or until hot. Let stand for 1 minute before serving. *Note: Keep refrigerated until ready to heat.

 

YAM SOUFFLE

Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove lid from tray. Remove bag of gingersnap topping. Peel back film from tray and sprinkle topping over yams. Replace film over tray and place tray on sheet pan in center of oven. Heat approximately 20 - 25 minutes or until hot.  Let stand for 1 minute before serving.

*Note: Keep refrigerated until ready to heat    

 

HORSERADISH SAUCE AND AU JUS

Remove lid and plastic film from container.  Empty contents into sauce pan.  Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until slow simmer or hot (approximately 1 - 2 minutes).

*Note: Keep refrigerated until ready to heat. Do not reuse or reheat in container.

 

BEEF MUSHROOM GRAVY

Remove lid and plastic film from container.  Empty contents into saucepan.  Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until slow simmer or hot (approximately 8 to 9 minutes).

*Note: Keep refrigerated until ready to use.  Do not reuse or reheat in container.

 

TURKEY GRAVY

CRANBERRY SAUCE

To be served cold.

 

CHICKEN BROTH and MATZO BALLS

Place all in a medium size sauce pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Placed in bowl and serve.

 

TZIMMES

Place in a small casserole and cover with foil. Heat in the oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until heated through.

 

GARLIC HERB POTATOES

Place in a small casserole and cover with foil. Heat in the oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until heated through.
